Drive carefully!
Went to an interesting meeting that Almaden Cares was hosting (subsidiary group from Almaden Kiwanis). In the light of recent teen tragegies in Almaden, they are trying to promote teen driver safety. Lots of great ideas were suggested like putting warnings about unsafe driving on school electronic signs, or getting a taxi company to give kids a free ride home. They are putting together a website called www.almadencares.com which will have a lot of advice and information.
Next meeting will be Jan 14th when hopefully more great ideas on teen safety and parent awarenesss will have been implemented.
In the meantime have a SAFE & happy holidays.
