What I like best about Almaden Valley:: It feels like a small town but has all the conveniences of a large one

My Hobbies:: writing, being involved in my community, having a glass of wine with my husband and friends, meeting the gals for coffee on Fridays

My School or Alma Madder:: Homestead High School in Cupertino and UC Santa Barbara (with a BA in Spanish Literature)

My Career:: motivational speaker, writer, community organizer (former high school Spanish teacher at Los Gatos High School)

My Accomplishments:: I am a staff writer and columnist for the Almaden Times and the author of two books, Caffeinated Ponderings on Life, Laughter & Lattes and Femail: a Comic Collision in Cyberspace. I am also an active community volunteer, currently serving as PTA President at Castillero Middle School.

I would love to talk with you about your vision for your business. I think we may just be kindred spirits! I am passionate about bringing people together to foster a deeper sense of community and have just booked my first gig as a motivational speaker around this subject.

I told her I am a new at this, and only have two of us working, and we are not the stealing type. I told her we can go to coffee too. I really like Carol. I said if I could, I would steal you both, or merge or whatever. I think it is fun to have a newspaper and a magazine. ;-)
